Eternal
Ruler of Magic
Before Birth.
In a certain Kingdom an Authoritarian ruler had caught wind of peasants talking of revolt, those peasants were summarily caught and executed almost the same day. To take the stress of managing the kingdom off his back he called over a slave, who originally was the kingdom's best warrior to his personal chambers and had his way with her. After having enough fun with her, he went on about ruling his kingdom with an iron fist.
Three months later the slave realized she was pregnant. The slave, afraid the king would kill her and the child, started to plan her escape. After rigorous planning, she escaped three months later and left the castle through the sewer tunnels. She hid in the home of her last friend, who the slave trusted the most out of anyone she's ever met, and for 3 months she hid until she gave birth.
After birth
I was left in an orphanage when I was only a baby and given the name Eternal, which was also where I spent nine years of my life wishing I was dead. I was constantly bullied by everyone, and even the owner of the orphanage wasn't exempt from this. I was required to do everyone’s chores and If I didn’t comply I would get beaten at night, this went for everything else as well. As I lived at the orphanage the owner made me wear red eye patches when I turned four, and solely because my eyes were 'hideous.' If I ever tried to take them off I was ganged up on by the other kids and starved for a week by the owner. When I turned ten I finally had enough of the abuse, I tore off the eye patch and got up from my bed to leave the orphanage. Surprisingly I managed to leave without any problems...
Two Years Later
Eternal learned a lot about himself throughout years, now that he could see unhindered. He realized that his two eyes were polar opposites from each other. The right eye was pure white and looked as if it could light up the darkest of voids. The left eye was like the mother of all voids, silently waiting for its next victim to fall within it. Eternal always felt like there was a force pushing into his eyes, and it was the same for the other eye, but the opposite of the first right eye. Eternal just thought it was due to wearing patches for ten years of his life.
For the first year outside the orphanage, Eternal barely managed to scrounge up enough money to feed himself. When the second year came around he actually got himself a job cleaning homes. He only got 5 copper coins per house, but that was enough for Eternal. One day when he was cleaning a room inside an inn he overheard some drunkards talking about the mage’s college. When he asked the innkeeper about the College he was told it was where prominent sons and daughters of nobles go to study magic and become mages of the kingdom. To get inside the college all you needed was talent in magic and one silver coin. Eternal didn’t even have 100 copper coins, never mind 1 silver coin. Even though he didn’t have 50 copper coins to his name he still wanted to join the Mage’s College. With a goal set in his mind he promised himself to earn enough money to join the college with three years.
Entering the Mage College
In three years, Eternal barely managed to earn 200 copper coins, though he still earned them nonetheless. After counting and confirming he had the amount needed to join the College he became ecstatic and jumped in joy on the spot. He quickly dressed in the best clothes he had and left for the college on the other side of the city. There was nothing noteworthy on way there besides some trinket that intrigued Eternal, but he nonetheless had to keep moving forward since he couldn’t afford to buy anything. Once he reached the entrance to the College he realized there was a massive line leading further into the College. Eternal quickly got into line and patiently waited for his turn, however long it took. Most of the people in line were Citizens like Eternal with some Soldiers mixed within, but they were the minority since they were only sent here by the army to learn magic.
While waiting for his turn he could see people in front handing a man in fancy robes their money and then placing their hands on a human-sized floating orb after talking to the man. After a few moments, the orb glowed a faint red color, and then a few moments later the orb also glowed a faint Yellow color. The person took their hands off of the orb and looked to the man, who now had a faint smile on his face. He pointed to his right, before asking for the next one.
When it was finally Eternal’s turn the man in front of him held out a chart showcasing what type of talent you could have. There were two types of talent. Comprehension talent where depending on the grade of talent a person received can determine how fast they progress while studying magic. The way they determined how much Talent you had in comprehension was by using colors, which were the following; Brown Grade-Normal, Yellow Grade-Rare Talent, Azure Grade-Genius, Crimson Grade-Best Talent, and the mythical White Grade Talent. Most people had only Brown Grade Talent, and only 1-1,000 had Yellow Grade Talent. Azure grade talent was only found in 1 of 100,000.
The second type of talent was related to the elements. The color that showed up in orbs corresponded to which element you had talent in. The elements were; Red-Fire, Blue-Water, Purple-Lightning, Brown-Earth, White-Air, Gray-Darkness, and Black-All Elements. These were also listed in how rare they were to appear in someone. Your talent in the Elements was tested first, then comprehension talent.
After Eternal finished reading the instructions on the paper he firmly planted both of his hands on the orb and after a few moments the orb started cycling through all of the colors before stopping on black. Everyone systematically gasped, and before they could even talk the orb changed to the color white. White light flooded the entire kingdom, rivaling the brightness of the sun. The light pouring from the orb slowly dimmed in brightness before completely disappearing from the world as if it never existed. If someone dropped a pin in the testing area you’d hear it hit the ground. Before Eternal could even react to what had just happened his hand was grabbed by the examiner and practically dragged across the field and into the College. Inside the College, he was brought to the headmaster’s office, and without even knocking the examiner opened the door and told me to sit down on one of the chairs. Before the Headmaster could scold the examiner, the examiner quickly explained what had happened in the testing area. As the story progressed you could visibly see the Headmaster’s face changing from a face of annoyance to a face of pure joy. After fully explaining what had happened the examiner and the Headmaster both looked at Eternal with a smile on their faces.
Becoming the Best Mage in History.
Eternal spent a grand total of six months at the Mage’s College. He was taught by the best Mage’s in the College and given the highest level of knowledge regarding magic in the entire kingdom. Even the king took notice of Eternal’s talent and personally gifted Eternal a golden crown, aligned with many magical gems that improved upon Eternal’s already high stats. When Eternal began on his path of a Mage it only took him a whopping four seconds before he understood the magical theory and could produce the basic fireball spell. Usually, people would take a month to understand the basic magical theory, and then a week after that to produce a fireball, but Eternal did it in four seconds! The highest Grade talent that’s ever appeared in the last millennia was a Crimson-Grade talent, yet even he took four days to learn magical theory! This clearly showed the disparity between White-Grade and Crimson-Grade Talent.
Eternal continued to learn at an ungodly pace and managed to completely learn /everything/ in the novice section in a mere day. Next, he moved to Apprentice level magic. He completed that within four days, with some improvements to the book itself by Eternal. He became an expert in magic in six months. The reason for the massive change in learning speed while mastering the expert spells was mostly because Eternal discovered something about his eyes, so he spent five and half months studying his eyes and two weeks mastering the spells. His right eye allowed him to almost instantly cast spells, while the left eye allowed him to gather mana at an ever-increasing rate. His best discovery, however, was his third eye. It would only appear when in the presence of magic and books related to magic. His third eye was almost like a combination of his two other eyes, the eyeball was black while its pupil was white. The ability of this eye allowed Eternal to quickly learn any spells that were used in front of him or described inside of a book. Eternal also discovered that his third eye was invisible to anyone but him. In honor of discovering these facts about his eyes, he decided to name them. His left eye would be named, Eternal Void. His right eye, Eternal Heaven, and his third eye, Eternal Wisdom. Eternal went on to master Master level Spells in six months. The College couldn’t keep his mind within the College, so with the help of the king, he traveled the continent in search of magic tomes and higher knowledge. He spent a full four years traveling the continent. In that time he mastered almost every single spell that has ever existed on the continent, and he was on the cusp of mastering spatial magic, his last stop. Two years later he finally managed to Master Spatial Magic and became the first-ever Arch-Mage. He was only in his 21 when he became an Arch-Mage, and due to his talent in magic and an obscene amount of mana, his body never aged. He spent hundreds of years watching over the continent, always making sure no one tried to take over the Continent. He grew bored with his world and decided to reach for a much higher realm. With his spatial magic, he teleported around the continent setting up thousands of arrays. Once the arrays were complete he teleported to the center of the continent and activated the arrays. With the support of his continental sized mana pool, rays of light shot up into the sky from the arrays and forcibly cut a hole in the sky, effectively creating a hole to another dimension. He floated over to the entrance of the portal and before entering took one final look at his place of birth. Eternal slowly shook his head before entering the portal.

Teaching others
Meeting new people and chatting with them.
Meditating.

Being alone.
Senseless evil or sowing discord for the sake of enjoying it.
Those with God Complexes.
-----------------------------------
Abilities:
SpaceTime:
Due to Eternal's nature as a 4th Dimensional Entity, space and time are like putty to him. To be molded, shaped, created, and destroyed as he deems fit.
Universes, Timelines, Past, Present, and Future are all things he can change on a whim.
He is in the past, present, and future all at once and all timelines of him have converged, he is eternal.
Magic:
Magic is the term to describe miracles that no common human can accomplish and spells are the mechanism for how these miracles are performed.
Eternal has understood this for a very long time and thus is no longer limited by affinity or talent for magic, but his imagination. If he wants something to happen, it will.
Creation:
Eternal, after ascending to 4th Dimensional status has come to understand life, power, and the soul in new ways.
From the lowest forms of life like bacteria to newly ascended Gods are things he can create. Life is no longer a mystery to him.
-----------------------------------
Passive Skills:
Variable Shift: Large changes to Timelines and the Universes connected to those timelines will be seen by him through visions of the event.
He limits this skill's strength as to not overload his mind because he is not used to his new state as a 4th Dimensional Entity.
Timeline Awareness: He is aware of how many Timelines exist for any Universe he visits and which one he is on.
Higher Dimensional Entity: Unless he actively lowers himself to a 3rd-dimensional state no one that is not of a similar level cannot perceive him.
Spacetime Immunity: Any attacks or defense that use Spacetime are rendered useless in his presence unless a being of similar strength to him uses Spacetime themselves. These attacks/defense can work against his 3D Avatars, but they will be resistant to them.
Crow:
His first creation with a mind of it's own, and his messenger. Eternal treats it as a companion, though does order it around.
Tree of Life:
His second creation, a tree he nurtured himself through hard work and his own blood. Every day, he waters the tree after a day of meditation. A companion he likes talking to.
Three Elders:
His third creation, despite being three entirely separate beings. They act as his guards through their own will, not by his orders, so he allows them to do so.
He has tried to act as merely a companion to them, but they refuse to and solely worship him as their god. So, he just lets them be and treats them kindly like the rest of his creations.
All of them are his first creations, so he treats them kindly.
Rose Cherish Emri:
Helping the Teifling on a whim, Rose grew on Eternal or Aeternus as that's what she knows his name as.
Damos Barlet:
Eternal has taken an interest in the boy, providing help on some occasions. He considers the boy to be naive in the way life works. He also believes the boy's life is like a fantasy story, everything always working out in the end somehow.
Everfear:
Like her father, Eternal considers them both pests, as they always give him a headache when they show up to cause trouble.
Maelris Kryoate:
A poor soul corrupted by an abyssal demon. Meeting them by chance, Eternal quickly noticed her situation and took pity on her by cleansing her of the corruption and reviving those she was forced to kill. Beyond that, he doesn't much about her and hasn't had a chance to talk.
Lindethiel: Queen of Aventus:
Merlin(Eternal), upon a chance meeting with her, looked into her fate and took an interest in her and thought it would be fun to follow someone.
Merlin loyally serves Lindethiel as her Royal Advisor, giving advice on certain matters and training her to be a proper Monarch.
To her, Merlin is merely an eccentric Archmage with power of unknown magnitudes and is unaware of his true might.
